Hamas deputy proclaims Rome will soon be conquered by Islam

A leading Muslim member of the radical faction Hamas and the Palestinian parliament gave a televised speech last Friday in which he said that "very soon by Allah, Rome will be conquered "by Islam. As reported

CatholicNewsAgency.com, Yunis al-Astal told his listeners that: "Very soon, Allah, Rome will be conquered, just like Constantinople was, as was prophesized by our prophet Muhammad. Today, Rome is the capital of the Catholics, or the Crusader capital, which has declared its hostility to Islam" .

This speech was aired on Hamas Al-Aqsa TV. It Yunis al-Astal said Rome will become "an advanced post for the Islamic conquests which will spread in Europe completely, and then come to the Americas, even Eastern Europe."

"Allah has chosen you for himself and his religion, to serve as an engine to move his nation toward the phase of succession, security and consolidation of power, and even won through da'wa and military conquests of the capitals of the world, "continues the speech of a member of Hamas.
